1.) How do I get to Vieques island?
In order to reach Vieques, clients can take a flight from San Juan and Ceiba or take the ferry from Ceiba.

2.) Do you provide charters to Culebra?

Salty Spirit trips are around Vieques island. We have spectacular beaches and wonderful snorkeling sites on our island. There’s no point on going to a different island. 


3.) How long has this company been in business?
Salty Spirit LLC. came into fruition in  2016. The entire crew has been leading tours for over 10 years with customer service experience of over 15 years . We have developed excursions that are ideal to our customers' needs and we have perfected those details that make our trips safe, fun, and memorable. What sets us apart is the long term relationships we have built with customers from all over the world that have re-taken our trips many times.

4.) Are the tour guides and captains local?
Salty Spirit does not outsource or import tour guides from other locations. However, not every single employee that works with us is originally from the island. Everyone on our team is passionate of their job and have the utmost respect for nature. A Salty Spirit is from anywhere in the world. 

5.) What are the employees certifications?
Because safety is our number one concern, every tour guide is CPR certified.

6.) Can I bring my camera for the Bioluminescent Bay Tour?
Yes, you may. However, it is very likely that what you will see with your own eyes will not match what you get on your phone screen.

7.) Are the snorkels cleaned or should I bring my own?
There is no need to bring a snorkel on our trip since we provide all of the equipment we will be using during the excursion. Every single piece of equipment is washed, sanitized, and air dried after each use. Our equipment is completely clean and safe to use.

8.) Will my excursion be cancelled if it is raining?
Tours are not cancelled for rain. However, if there are lightnings and thunders, we will cancel the trip, try to re-schedule if customer's schedule allows, or cheerfully refund full payment.

9.) Why take your snorkeling tour when I can go on my own?
Every detail of the experience with us has carefully been considered. We take you off the grid and on to beautiful views, spot sea creatures you wouldn't be able to spot on your own since you do not know what you are looking for. Unforgettable, worry-free experiences, adding thoughtful, unexpected touches to special moments is our main goal.
